A Festive Finale: OCN Mortgage Holiday Party Wraps Up 2024 in Style

On December 5, 2024, the Originator Connect Network (OCN) hosted its annual Mortgage Holiday Party at the Irvine Marriott in Irvine, California. This festive gathering brought together over 500 mortgage professionals from across Southern California to celebrate the season and the year's accomplishments.

The event commenced at 1:00 pm with registration, followed by a series of educational sessions featuring industry leaders. Highlights included:

• "The Art of Connection: Building Powerful Referral Networks" presented by Newfi, offering innovative strategies for business growth through relationships.
• "How Do You Build Your 4EVER Mortgage Business?" featuring Allen Middleman of Freedom Mortgage Wholesale sharing success stories and strategies for a lasting business.
• "Learn from the Nation’s #1 Loan Officer" with Thuan Nguyen, CEO of Loan Factory, Inc., who shared insights from closing over 11,600 loans totaling $4.4 billion in just two years.
• "Making the 2024 Mortgage Market Work for You and the Underserved Borrowers" by Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions, focusing on Non-QM market trends and opportunities.
• "The Rise of AI — The Future of Mortgage" presented by Sun West Mortgage Company, exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on mortgage operations.

At 5:00 pm, the celebration transitioned into a lively holiday party and exhibit hall. Attendees enjoyed an open bar reception, networking opportunities, and the chance to connect with exhibitors showcasing the latest industry products and services. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by the spirit of camaraderie and shared success among mortgage originators.
